AviationShade provides a simple and flexible way to create shade exactly where you need it.
Designed by pilots for pilots, this reusable aircraft cockpit sunshade attaches directly to the cockpit glazing using static adhesion. There is no glue, no permanent mounting system and no complicated installation.
Unlike a fixed sunshade, AviationShade can be repositioned in seconds. As the position of the sun changes relative to the aircraft, simply move the shade to the area where direct sunlight is causing the most discomfort.
It can be particularly useful when flying towards a low sun, when shading part of the cockpit or when you want to reduce the amount of direct sunlight reaching an iPad or other cockpit equipment.
Each AviationShade measures 11 × 7.5 inches (approximately 27.9 × 19.1 cm). The compact format allows you to shade a targeted area rather than permanently covering a large section of the cockpit glazing. If more coverage is required, multiple AviationShades can be combined.
Designed for repeated use, AviationShade can be removed, stored and used again on your next flight. If dust or dirt begins to affect its adhesion, the surface can be cleaned using the supplied cleaning tool.
